Reaction to Angela Merkel’s and Viktor Orbán’s press conference

Painfully few specifics were revealed in Thursday’s press conference held by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, so we still cannot see how they are planning to stop the migration wave targeting Europe. Jobbik’s position is that neither poor nor rich and nor returned migrants should have a place in Hungary. Although Jobbik does agree that the EU’s external borders need to be protected through a joint effort, our party opposes the idea of setting up a joint European army. The refugee crisis must be managed in the first safe country outside Europe and Hungary must take its share of the tasks arising there.
