Jobbik’s leaders meet National Federation of Workers’ Councils and “LIGA” Democratic League of Independent Trade Unions
On May 30, 2017, in the head office of the Workers’ Councils, the board members of the National Federation of Workers’ Councils and the president as well as another representative of “LIGA” Democratic League of Independent Trade Unions met Jobbik’s president Gábor Vona and MP Márton Gyöngyösi, the representative of the Citizens’ Committee initiating the European Wage Union.
In this Jobbik-initiated meeting, the leaders of the two trade union federations were given an insight into Jobbik’s project aiming at a European Wage Union. Discussing the issue of the European wage gap, the participants looked into the potential stations of the integration process as well as the underlying economic, structural and cohesion problems. The parties agreed that the solution of these problems form a part of the implementation of a wage union.
