Jobbik to get passport scandal investigated

In the next regular meeting of the Parliament’s Committee on National Security, Jobbik will put on the agenda to investigate how foreign citizens could fraudulently get hold of nearly 700 Hungarian passports. Some of these passports were used for getting into the territory of the United States several times. We have repeatedly called attention to these abuses years ago but the government ignored the warnings, perhaps not accidentally. It is an outright shame for the Hungarian authorities that these abuses had to be pointed out by the US, so the system clearly needs to be reviewed immediately.
