Hungarian government favours Russia
The way how the Hungarian government decided to favour Russian business interests and backed out of a Hungarian company’s international expansion, eventually causing it to lose a multi-billion HUF deal, amounts to high treason. Supported by the Hungarian state-owned Eximbank, Hungarian company Ganz, as part of a consortium, would have won an Egyptian tender for manufacturing 700 railway carriages but the Orbán government eventually started to back another group with a Russian participant. Jobbik believes the case raises grave national security and economic issues, which need to be investigated urgently.
