Another international blunder for the government

If Politico magazine’s article is correct and NATO’s lack of trust in Hungary has really caused the alliance to reduce the information flow to the bare minimum, it is a major failure for our country. NATO officials do not trust Hungary and they are reluctant to share sensitive information with us – such serious criticism can deeply undermine Hungary’s role in diplomacy and security policy, and lead to isolation. There seems to be only one important area left for the Orbán government: corruption. They have already sacrificed several key development projects at the altar of their own material wealth, including those in education and healthcare, and they no longer seem to care about Hungary’s gradual international isolation, either.
