Let's follow the British example!

Jobbik welcomes the announcement of David Cameron, the British Prime Minister that the citizens of the United Kingdom can soon decide with a referendum whether their country should be a member of the European Union. By making this announcement, Cameron proved that he was a brave politician as well as a dedicated representative of the will and interests of his nation - states Márton Gyöngyösi, the deputy leader of Jobbik's Parliamentary group in his press release on Thursday.
Cameron's decision was made in spite of such pressure exercised by the United States and the EU member countries that could be considered as a constant threat on his nation. Not only did Prime Minister Cameron give a chance to his nation to declare their opinion about a Union that has recently gone astray from its original objectives by walking on the path of complete centralization, but he also gave hope to all member states that they can regain their sovereignty from Brussels.
Jobbik has long been calling upon the Hungarian government to admit misleading the Hungarian nation with the shamefully unilateral and superficial campaign before the referendum in 2003. They should also admit that they cannot protect Hungarian national interests in Brussels or prevent the establishment of an economic and political union that aims to completely eradicate national sovereignty. Therefore Jobbik calls upon Viktor Orban to follow the example of his British colleague and initiate laying the EU-Hungary relations on new foundations as well as a national referendum about Hungary's EU membership.
