Jobbik: Hungarian government fails to speak out for the Hungarian minority in Ukraine
Jobbik Movement for a Better Hungary finds it outrageous that Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Tibor Navracsics considers the protection of the Hungarian community of the Lower Carpathians as a tertiary matter. According to today's statement, the minister, just like his predecessor János Martonyi, believes that the territorial integrity of Ukraine is a more important matter - wrote István Szávay in his press release.
As reported in the media, Tibor Navracsics was talking about the Ukrainian situation today, including the priorities of Hungarian diplomacy. The protection of the Hungarian minority is only listed third, placing the matter below the integrity of Ukraine in terms of importance. He also said that military mobilization was promised not to impact Hungarians of the Lower Carpathians disproportionately.
István Szávay says that Hungarian diplomacy continues to refrain from raising voice against the drafting of Hungarian men and the settlement of Ukrainian refugees in ethnic Hungarian villages and towns. Jobbik demands the Hungarian government to consider the protection of the Hungarian community and the representation of their interests as a top priority in all conditions! - pointed out Jobbik's politician in his press release.
