Jobbik about the NATO-exercise in Georgia
Jobbik, The Movement For A Better Hungary considers the involvement of the Hungarian Army in next month's NATO military exercise in Georgia an irresponsible political decision. The relationship between tha NATO and Russia severely suffered due to the crisis in South-Osetia last year, and relations only just have started to show signs of recovery in the last few months. In this situation, the Jobbik Party objects the Hungarian Army's participation in a NATO military exercise that
may be taken as a provocation.
The Jobbik Party also calls for an immediate revision of the Hungarian Army's participation in NATO missions in Afghanistan. Based on our Foreign Policy principles, the Jobbik Party would recall the troops from Afghanistan. There is no valid reason why Hungarian troops should serve abroad while the Hungarian Army is at a serious depravation considering headcount, military equipment and the ability to defend our country.
