Had there been governments in the past 18 years really representing Hungarian interests, they would have broken the borders of Trianon. The unsuccessful referendum on dual citizenship and the treachery of 2005 September 26th in the Parliament proved that none of the parliamentary parties are reliable for the Hungarians, who had been cut off.

Movement for a Better Hungary (Jobbik) initiated its negotiations on the aims of the disenfranchised national minority with the largest headcount in the EU, with numerous transborder Hungarian parties, civil organisations, pastors, mayors and school directors. Jobbik do not need an utopistic nostalgia-like daydreaming, rather focusing its efforts on a pragmatic, timely programme arrangement, which has 12 fundamentals as follows:

1. Citizenship for all Hungarians who live outside the borders of Hungary, wherever he is located.
2. Territorial autonomy for Székelyföld guaranteed by law.
3. Territorial autonomy for Hungarians living in the Uplands.
4. Establishment of the Southlands Associate National Community Region.
5. Autonomous Hungarian township in the Subcarpathian Region.
6. Autonomous Hungarian university and college in Kolozsvár, Beregszász, Szabadka and Pozsony.
7. Free use of the Hungarian „csángó" mother language.
8. Social dispute on the Trianon dictate.
9. Qualification of June 4th as a national memorial day.
10. Rehabilitation of Albert Wass.
11. Creation and arrangement of job creation scheme for Hungarian family, and SME entrepreneurships in the Carpathian Basin.
12. Launching and enrolling the sports clubs of the Carpathian Basin in the Hungarian Championships.
