Announcement about the ban on the Hungarian Guard

The Hungarian Guard Association akcnowledges the verdict of the Budapest Appeal Court but will seek the legal challenge of the verdict at the High Court, as the ruling was suspectedly a result of pressure from International and Hungarian political groups.

We are deeply saddened that this ruling by the Appeal Court is quite contrary to the court of public opinion. Also, in contrast to the design of the political lobby behind the Appeal Court's verdict, we believe that Jobbik and the Hungarian Guard will, in fact, gain enormous popularity from the controversial verdict.

The Hungarian Guard Association, now disbanded by the Appeal Court, wishes faith, strength and will to every members of the Hungarian Guard to fulfill their mission in society. The members of the Association will continue to support the Hungarian Guard in a form that will be decided in the next few weeks.
