Dr. Krisztina Morvai accuses the leaders of Israel with war crimes

Krisztina Morvai filed a lawsuit with the Hungarian Supreme Court against the leaders and military commanders of Israel accusing them of crimes against humanity.Ms. Morvai, a professor of law at the Budapest University (ELTE) cited several sections of the international and Hungarian law that the leaders and military commander of Israel violated.

Among these violations, she listed the slaughtering of the helpless civilian population of Gaza, mostly children and women. The use of banned chemical materials, such as phosphorous bombs causing burns and excruciating suffering for those come to contact with the substance--mostly unprotected civilians. The slaughtering and maiming of children in the presence of their loved ones causing extreme psychological suffering to the helpless parents.

The invasion of Gaza, up until now

, has produced, at least 1100 dead and 5200 injured, mostly civilians. Ms. Morvai has attached numerous documents to the lawsuit as evidence of the criminal activities carried out by Israeli leaders; these include reports by United Nations officials, video and photographic documentations depicting atrocities carried out by Israeli forces. Ms. Morvai also calls upon all descent people with evidence about these crimes to step forward.

The following sums up the charges Ms. Morvai brought against the criminally responsible leaders of Israel.

Inciting war
According to the law, inciting and promoting war is a criminal offense and can be punished by imprisonment for up to 5 years.

Genocide
Those who are killing and murdering on racial and religious grounds or causing extreme suffering to people because of their racial or religious backgrounds can be punished with life imprisonment.

Apartheid
Those who are depriving people from their essential freedom on the ground of their racial or religious backgrounds or dominate them on the same basis, killing them or forcing such a living conditions upon them that might cause the loss of their lives can be punished by life imprisonment.

Crime against the civilian population
Military personnel that commit violent acts against the civilian population or prisoners of war commit a criminal offense that can be punished by imprisonment for up to 15 years.

Unlawful military operations
Military personnel that violates the international law regulating warfare by endangering the lives and living conditions of civilians commit a criminal offense and can be punished by a prison term ranging from 10 to 15 years.

The use of banned weapons
Those who are using banned weapons against civilians or prisoners of war commit an offense that can be punished by life imprisonment.

In the lawsuit, Ms. Morvai also calls upon the Chief Justice to bring about regulations preventing Israeli war criminals to acquire possession in Hungary. Or if this already has happened freeze all these assets.
